The Liverpool talisman is wanted by the Saudi Arabian side, who are hoping they can snare him away from Anfield before their transfer window closes on 20th September.
It has been claimed that Salah wants Liverpool to listen to what Al Ittihad have to say, with the striker looking at a possible £1.5m per week pay packet in the kingdom.
Liverpool do not want to sell, but according to German daily Bild, Salah’s representatives held intensive talks with Al Ittihad on Thursday night.
The Saudi side are not giving up and Salah’s camp are talking to them.
Liverpool could be offered around £100m for a player who is now 31 and has just two years on his contract at Anfield.
While Jurgen Klopp is opposed to losing Salah, it remains to be seen what owners Fenway Sports Group think of any substantial proposal from the Middle East.
Losing Salah before the transfer window closes would be a blow, but Liverpool could be tested after the window shuts, as it remains open in Saudi Arabia until 20th September.
