Al Ittihad are keen on bringing Liverpool star Salah to the Saudi Pro League this summer and despite Jurgen Klopp’s insistence on not selling him, they are pushing for the Egyptian.
It has been suggested that the Saudi outfit are willing to pay a fee well over £100m to Liverpool for Salah’s services and they are offering the forward a lucrative contract to join them.
Fjortoft stated that the money the Saudi Arabian outfit are offering to Liverpool and Salah is unbelievable.
And the former top-flight star believes that the Saudi transfer window being open after 1st September will further complicate Salah’s future.
“The money offered to the player and club is just unbelievable”, Fjortoft wrote on his social media platform.
“The fact that the transfer window in Saudi Arabia closes 7th of September (as stated at Saudi – FA site – other places says even 20th) makes this also more complicated.”
Salah has begun the season in an impressive manner, scoring once and assisting twice in three games for Liverpool.
