The striker, who the Tricky Trees snapped up from Bordeaux only last summer, spent last season out on two separate loan spells – the first one at Olympiacos and the second one at FC Seoul.
Though back at City Ground, he is yet to play his first match of the season in a Nottingham Forest shirt and is now being linked with yet another move out.
Norwich City boss David Wagner is keen on having the player before the window shuts close as he wants to use Ui-Jo as a replacement for Josh Sargent.
The 23-year-old striker, who scored Norwich City’s opener in the 4-0 win against Huddersfield Town last Saturday, had to be pulled out with an injury.
The manager later said that he was fearful that the injury would be a long-term one and now a replacement has been thought of.
Norwich City will have to be quick in their approach though, given that they are fighting a race against time to get deals done.
Forest, on the other hand, are interested in Norwich City’s young defender Andrew Omobamidele.
