The 26-year-old Frenchman has failed to make his mark at the north London club since he joined in 2019.

Ndombele has been sent on several loan spells away from England and he spent last season with Serie A champions Napoli.

New Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou did not have the midfielder in his plans and Ndombele joined Turkish giants Galatasaray on a season-long deal with a buy option.

Ndombele has so far clocked 25 minutes of game time in the Turkish Super Lig, across two games.

However, Ndombele will not be able to add to that figure in this week’s match against Istanbulspor, according to Turkish daily Hurriyet.

The game against Istanbulspor is a rescheduled fixture, with the original match having been postponed.

And with Ndombele not having been registered by the time of the original game, he is unable to play against Istanbulspor on Tuesday.

Now Ndombele will be aiming to feature against Ankaragucu next weekend.
