The Spanish right-back joined Spurs permanently this summer and Postecoglou has started Porro in Spurs’ last five league matches.
Porro has traditionally played as an attacking wing-back but he has a new inverted role at the north London club and he admitted that he has never played that role before.

The 24-year-old stressed that Postecoglou has given him the confidence to play his new role and stressed that he will get better as an inverted full-back with time.
“Ange is a great coach, as we worked with him, he has the mentality that we players also have and, together we are on the right track”, Porro said via Desporto Ao Minuto.
“I’ve only been here a short time, with Ange’s arrival…. I’ve never played inside before, it took me a bit longer
“But I think it’ll get better as the games go by, but he’s given me confidence and I’m grateful for that”
The 24-year-old Spaniard will be looking to work hard and repay Postecoglou’s faith by putting in good performances in his new role.
