The 21-year-old striker struggled last season to justify his big price tag and failed to help Leeds avoid relegation.

This season, Rutter has been in impressive form and has netted three goals while assisting five times in 14 games in the league.

Rutter is keeping the experienced Bamford out of the Leeds’ side, but Kamara revealed that the older hitman is making sure he gives advice and guidance to the younger striker.

The Leeds star pointed out that Bamford has a lot of experience in his bank, having earned promotion with the Whites and he thinks that it is brilliant of the 30-year-old to help Rutter with his knowledge.

“Everyone helps everyone here”, Kamara said on the Official Leeds United podcast.

“I have seen Pat talk to him [Rutter] a lot, just giving advice on what to do on and around the pitch, which is nice.

“I am like, okay, that is a good lad; he is giving him advice.

“Pat has been there and done that.”

Rutter scored the winner against Leicester City last weekend and all eyes will be on him to see whether he can continue his form against Plymouth Argyle on Saturday.
