The former Norwich City boss took over at Elland Road in the summer as Leeds’ new owners looked for the right man to lead the club back up to the Premier League.
A rocky initial period, with a host of player departures, saw Farke have a difficult start to life as Leeds boss, but he has since got the Whites on a good run of form.
Leeds are considered to be contenders for automatic promotion from the Championship, but have failed to win in their last two league games.
Farke admits tough periods just cause him to strengthen his connection with the players, while he revealed that Leeds as a whole are a club he is falling in love with.
“In this moment I feel more connected with my players and love them even more in these parts than when we ease from win to win”, Farke said in a press conference.
“I’ve been here just for half a year, but, it really feels already that my feelings for this club, I start to love this club already.
“And I start to love our supporters and what we are.
“Also when we have a spell like right now when we are a bit unlucky, my connection with this club and our supporters and what we are doing feels even stronger.
“Our name says already what we are already about. We are Leeds United. We are Leeds. This means never go the easy way.”
Farke is currently preparing his men for a crucial clash in the Championship this weekend against Ipswich Town, who sit in the second automatic promotion spot.
