Liverpool have revealed their side to play host to Newcastle United in the Premier League tonight.
The Reds tackle the start of 2024 sitting on top of the Premier League table and after Arsenal stumbling at Fulham, Jurgen Klopp knows victory over Newcastle would give his men a five-point advantage over the Gunners.
History is firmly on Liverpool’s side tonight, with Newcastle not having won at Anfield in the league since 1994.
The Reds also beat Newcastle in the earlier meeting between the two teams this season, with heroics from Darwin Nunez doing the business on Tyneside.
Alisson slots in between the sticks for Liverpool, who name a back four of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk, Ibrahima Konate and Joe Gomez.
In the middle of the park the Reds have Wataru Endo, Dominik Szoboszlai and Curtis Jones, while Nunez, Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz lead the attack.
Klopp can shake things up with his substitutes if needed and they include Diogo Jota and Ryan Gravenberch.
