Tam McManus believes that Hibernian appear to be a team that have something missing either in terms of formation or in terms of personnel.

Hibernian were better for most parts of the game against Motherwell on Tuesday, enjoying the lion’s share of possession and also having more shots on goal.

Despite that, Nick Montgomery’s side could only manage a 2-2 draw after being forced to come from behind to level in the 91st minute.

McManus, who watched the game, insists that it felt like Hibs could blow Motherwell away after 25 minutes.

However, given that they could only get away with a 2-2 draw, it proves that Hibs have something missing in terms of either personnel or formation, McManus insists.

“Watched game today on Hibs TV and from looking like could blow Motherwell away after 20-25 mins scraped a point at the death”, McManus wrote on X.

“Something missing whether that’s personnel/formation but Hibs look wide open at times especially in midfield.”

The lack of takers for crosses put inside the opposition box also has McManus worried.

“Loads of crosses in box but no one there too.”

Hibs, along with other Scottish Premiership clubs, will now head for their mid-season break with action not set to resume until the end of January.
