Wolves could still send Yerson Mosquera on loan to a Championship club this month.

The centre-back is now at Molineux following a ten-month loan spell at MLS club FC Cincinnati and has been training with the first team.

Wolves boss Gary O’Neil wants to take a close look at Mosquera and he is expected to be involved in this evening’s FA Cup tie against Brentford.

However, that does not mean that the Colombian will be staying at Wolves and, according to Colombian journalist Pipe Sierra, it is still possible that Mosquera will be loaned out.

His destination would be a club in the Championship, where he has interest.

O’Neil will now have to decide whether Mosquera is ready to slot into meeting the demands of the Premier League.

Alternatively, Wolves could look for him to get up to speed with the cut and thrust of English football in the Championship.

Mosquera, 22, has been capped at senior international level by Colombia.
