Arsenal have not tabled a bid for Getafe striker Borja Mayoral amidst rumours of an offer, according to the Daily Mirror.
The Gunners have been plagued by their inability to convert chances in recent weeks and they have dropped down to fourth in the league table.
Arsenal are said to be weighing up signing a striker in the ongoing transfer window to solve their goalscoring woes.
Mayoral has been heavily linked with a move to the Emirates and there are suggestions of a bid going in for the Getafe striker from the north London club.
However, it has been claimed that Arsenal have not put in an offer for the 26-year-old striker.
Mayoral has been in excellent form in La Liga this season, scoring 12 times in 19 appearances for Getafe and is on the radar of a few clubs.
However, Arsenal have not made a move to snare him away from Getafe at this stage of the transfer window.
It is unclear how much funds Mikel Arteta has in his kitty in the winter window given Arsenal’s heavy spending over the last couple of years.
