Inter Milan are waiting for Leicester City to table their official bid for midfielder Stefano Sensi, it has been claimed in Italy.
Leicester are sitting pretty at the top of the Championship table and are almost a certainty to play in the Premier League next season barring an unexpected collapse.
However, Enzo Maresca is still keen to add to his dominant squad in the ongoing transfer window and has his eyes on Sensi.
Leicester have been working on a deal to sign the Inter Milan star behind the scenes and are favourites to sign him.
But according to Italian daily Tuttosport (via Tutto Mercato), the Nerazzurri are still waiting for Leicester to table their official bid for Sensi.
He will be out of contract in the summer and Inter are happy to let him go in the ongoing transfer window.
The Serie A leaders are prepared to accept a fee of around €2m to €3m and Sensi has already given his approval to the move.
However, the deal is waiting for Leicester to table their bid before it can proceed to the next stage.
