Hibernian boss Nick Montgomery has made a decision over whether he wants the club to offer a contract to former Leeds United midfielder Adryan, according to Sky Sports.

Adryan was on the books at Leeds in the 2014/15 campaign and was considered a hugely promising talent.

He eventually departed Elland Road though to sign for French outfit Nantes and despite a solid spell in Switzerland with Sion, has seen his career peter out.

Now a free agent after a brief spell in Italy with Brescia, Adryan has been training with Hibernian at their camp in Dubai.

However, after having a close look at the former Leeds midfielder, Montgomery has decided that Hibs will not be offering him a contract.

The Scottish Premiership side are passing on snapping up the 29-year-old attacking midfielder.

It remains to be seen where Adryan will now head, as he looks to relaunch his career and get it back on track.

Adryan came through the youth set-up at Brazilian giants Flamengo and has been capped by Brazil through to Under-20 level.
