Sean Dyche considers Arnaut Danjuma part of his plans at Everton and the Toffees do not want to lose the winger, according to the Liverpool Echo.

Danjuma is wanted by French giants Lyon and it has been claimed that he is closing in on joining the club on loan.

Everton are suggested to have lined up a replacement for Danjuma and will agree to terminate his loan from Villarreal in order that he can join Lyon.

However, that talk appears to be wide of the mark as Dyche still considers Danjuma to be part of his squad.

Everton are claimed to be battling to keep hold of the winger and are eyeing keeping him until his loan runs out in the summer.

Danjuma wants to make sure he is playing regular first team football ahead of Euro 2024 and is not confident about his prospects of doing so at Everton.

Losing Danjuma without bringing in a replacement would reduce Dyche’s squad depth.

The attacker has clocked 13 outings in the Premier League for Everton so far this season, scoring once.
