Sheffield Wednesday could be snapping up Kristian Pedersen from Swansea City, according to the BBC.
Owls boss Danny Rohl is frantically looking to make signings before the transfer window closes this evening.
He has now zeroed in on the club’s Championship rivals for an option in the shape of Danish defender Pedersen.
Pedersen, 29, had a successful spell at Birmingham City before he headed for Germany with 1.FC Koln.
The defender has struggled for game time at Swansea this season, clocking just 290 minutes of football in the Championship.
A move to Hillsborough may be something which appeals to the defender this evening.
Pedersen would be walking straight into a relegation battle if he completes the move to Sheffield Wednesday.
The clock is ticking down on the window though and the Owls will have to hurry if they want to seal a deal.
