Fenerbahce are in talks with Tottenham Hotspur for the signature of midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, who they would like to deliver to Jose Mourinho.

 

The Dane has a year left on his contract at Tottenham and he has been heavily linked with a move away from Spurs.

 

Tottenham are keen to offload the player and the club are now prepared to entertain offers for him this summer.

 

 

Several clubs in Italy and Spain are interested in getting their hands on the Dane in the upcoming transfer window.

 

And Fenerbahce are keen to take Hojbjerg to Turkey in the summer, with talks having taken place, according to Turkish journalist Omer Celikbasli.

 

 

Fenerbahce have appointed Mourinho as their new manager and the Portuguese coached the midfielder when he was at Tottenham.

 

Talks are ongoing between the two clubs for Fenerbahce to try and sign him this summer.

 

 

Hojbjerg is one of the players who feature on the shortlist of players Fenerbahce are considering signing.
