Top deal-maker Christopher Vivell is waiting for his work permit before he can start at Manchester United.

The Red Devils are bringing Vivell in to help them over the course of the summer transfer window.

Vivell has been involved in a host of top deals during his time working in the game, including taking Erling Haaland to Red Bull Salzburg and landing Dominik Szoboszlai and Benjamin Sesko for RB Leipzig.

Manchester United want Vivell in place and the agreement is done, but according to Sky Deutschland, he is waiting for his work permit.

Until the work permit is granted, Vivell cannot start work for Manchester United.

When he does arrive at Old Trafford his job will be to help strengthen the team over the course of the window in a targeted manner.

The Red Devils are expected to back Erik ten Hag in the transfer market this summer and a new centre-back is on the agenda.

Bayern Munich defender Matthijs de Ligt is one player that the club are currently trying to sign, with Ten Hag in contact with the Dutchman.
