Aston Villa could soon be tested with an offer for one of their attacking players as an interested club are prepared to do everything to land him.

Villa boss Unai Emery is plotting for a season which will have Champions League football on the agenda and he has already set about strengthening his squad.

Ian Maatsen has landed from Chelsea, while Enzo Barrenechea and Samuel Illing-Junior have switched from Juventus.

Lewis Dobbin has been snapped up from Everton, while Ross Barkley, another player with an Everton connection, joined from Luton Town.

Aston Villa will also have to deal with interest in their players and winger Moussa Diaby is a wanted man.

Villa beat off interest from Saudi Arabia to sign Diaby from Bayer Leverkusen last summer.

Interest from the Saudi Pro League has not gone away though and, according to French outlet Foot Mercato, Al-Ittihad want Diaby this summer.

It is claimed the wealthy club will do everything possible to get their hands on the winger.

Al-Ittihad finished a whopping 42 points behind champions Al-Hilal last season in the Saudi Pro League and are determined the same will not happen again.

They see Diaby as a major step in strengthening their squad and are determined to push for him.
