Manchester United could have an agreement in place with Bayern Munich for the purchase of Matthijs de Ligt as early as next week.

 

De Ligt has made it clear to his agent and Bayern Munich that he only wants to join Manchester United this summer.

 

The Premier League giants have an agreement in place over a contract with the Dutchman and are pushing to get a deal over the line.

 

 

Manchester United have made progress in negotiations with Bayern Munich and are closing in on a deal with the German giants.

 

According to German daily Bild, an agreement between the two clubs could come as early as next week.

 

 

The negotiations are being conducted in an air of positivity between the two clubs with both keen to finalise a deal.

 

Bayern Munich are pushing to get a fee in the region of €50m plus add-ons before signing off the Dutchman’s departure.

 

 

The two clubs are closing in on a deal that would see the defender move to Old Trafford this summer.
