West Ham United are amongst the clubs who are interested in signing Sergi Roberto on a free transfer in the ongoing transfer window.
Roberto announced his departure from Barcelona this week and he will be leaving the club as a free agent.
He has offers from the MLS and the Saudi Pro League but the midfielder would prefer to continue playing in one of the top leagues in Europe.
With his free agent status, Roberto has more time to choose his next club as he would be able to join even after the end of the transfer window.
According to Catalan daily Mundo Deportivo, West Ham are in the transfer mix for the signature of the midfielder.
Julen Lopetegui is a fan of the former Barcelona man and is interested in adding his experience to the West Ham squad.
However, he is also attracting interest from other clubs such as Girona, Ajax and Fiorentina this summer.
His former Barcelona teammate Cesc Fabregas is keen to take him to Como on a free transfer.
