La Liga giants Barcelona remain interested in Liverpool winger Luis Diaz, despite Liverpool boss Arne Slot indicating the Colombian will not go.
Rumours of a potential to Manchester City this summer have been quickly squashed but the winger’s future remains under the scanner.
Liverpool boss Slot has insisted that the Colombian will remain part of his Liverpool squad this summer, when asked about transfer talk surrounding his player.
Barcelona showed interest in the winger earlier in the summer but not much has moved since then.
However, according to Colombian journalist Pipe Sierra, Barcelona very much remain on the trail of the Liverpool winger in the ongoing transfer window.
They are keen to make an offer for the player but they need to find ways to raise funds first.
With two weeks left in the window, Barcelona have not made a concrete move to sign Diaz this summer.
The Colombian would be keen on a move to the Nou Camp if the Catalan giants make a play to sign him.
Whether Liverpool could cash in is open to question, as is whether Diaz would push for the move.
