Johann Berg Gudmundsson has now arrived in Saudi Arabia ahead of exiting Burnley for Al-Orobah this summer.
The 33-year-old winger is in the final year of his contract and Burnley have been ready to move him on this summer.
He scored in Burnley’s 5-0 win over Cardiff in their opening Championship game but he was left out of their squad against Luton last weekend in anticipation of a transfer.
Al-Orobah have a deal in place to sign the Iceland winger in the ongoing summer transfer window.
Gudmundsson had a medical earlier this week to get the deal progressing.
Now, according to Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri, he flew out on Monday night and is now on the cusp of leaving Burnley.
Gudmundsson has already agreed personal terms with Al-Orobah and will sign a two-year deal with the club.
He scored 15 times and registered 30 assists in 228 appearances for Burnley but is now set to move on from the Clarets.
