Jack Clarke and Armando Broja are not expected to be registered before the midday deadline today to be involved in Ipswich Town’s match against Manchester City, according to Sky Sports News.

Kieran McKenna successfully got the Tractor Boys promoted to the Premier League and now they are trying to build a squad strong enough to avoid relegation.

Chelsea striker Broja and Sunderland star Clarke are set to be their next two signings.

Ipswich Town fans, however, will need to wait to see them in action and they are unlikely to be involved against Pep Guardiola’s side.

None of them are expected to be registered in Ipswich’s squad before today’s deadline.

Clarke is currently going through his medical and Broja has already completed his medical, he is just waiting for the paperwork to be completed before the Tractor Boys announce him formally.

The Albanian forward is joining on a loan deal initially with an obligation to buy if Ipswich avoid relegation and Clarke is joining McKenna’s side on a permanent deal.

Ipswich will be looking to have Broja and Clarke ready and available before they face Fulham on 31st August.
