Thank heavens for the Confederations Cup. It may seem strange to read that sentence, but a summer without a World Cup, Copa America, or European Championship is enough to depress fans across the globe. FIFA’s tournament is growing in importance, and, make no mistake, is one that every country involved would dearly love to win. All nations have their targets for the competition, and the chance to glimpse at just how the 2010 World Cup will take shape in South Africa is one that should not be refused.

In our coverage we have previewed every team involved, who fans should look out for – especially useful with the smaller nations – and just what their prospects are. Just click on the respective country to reach their individual preview. Enjoy the summer, enjoy the Confederations Cup!
