Panathinaikos striker Vangelis Mantzios has completed a loan move to Cypriot club Anorthosis Famagusta until the end of the season. The 26-year-old striker was once rated as one of the attacking hopes of Greek football but has seen his career stall in recent years.
Mantzios enjoyed a loan spell with Eintracht Frankfurt in 2008, but only featured in a handful of games and the Bundesliga club declined the option to make the move permanent.
Now the tall forward will be looking to get some games under his belt in Cyprus and hopefully return to Greek football a better player.
