Belgian giants Standard Liege completed a late swoop for striker Mohammed Tchite yesterday, snapping up the 26-year-old from La Liga side Racing Santander.
Tchite has spent three years in Spanish football having moved to Racing in 2007 from Anderlecht. Prior to that he had been with Standard and developed a reputation as a goalscorer in Belgian football.
The Burundi-born player has signed with Standard for three years, plus the option of an extra one if all parties are happy with the move.
