Reports from Italy suggest that Juventus may be willing to offer midfielder Mohamed Sissoko as bait to tempt Lazio into parting with defender Stephan Lichtsteiner. The Old Lady are keen on the Swiss defender, in addition to his team-mate Stefan Radu.
Lazio have been the surprise package of this season’s Serie A, even topping the table at one stage, and their players have begun to attract serious attention. Juventus, who feel they need to strengthen their defence, are keen on Lichtsteiner.
And the Serie A giants could offer Sissoko as part of any package, believing that the Mali international is rated at almost the same as the Swiss star. Any deal therefore would only see a small amount of money included, if at all.
