Russian side Rubin Kazan are believed to be closing in on Santos’ young defender Danilo. The 19-year-old caught Rubin’s attention with some glowing displays for Brazil’s Under-20 side and would be welcomed with open arms in Kazan.
Santos are thought to have asked for at least €12M in order to part with the highly rated defender, an amount the Russian side should have no problem paying if they believe Danilo is a star of the future.
Danilo only joined Santos in 2010 from America (MG) and his sale would represent a quick turnaround for the most successful club in Brazilian football.
