According to his agent, Schalke goalkeeper Manuel Neuer is set on staying with the Ruhr club, snubbing interest from Bayern Munich and Manchester United.
Neuer has continued his progress this season and is widely considered to be one of the most accomplished goalkeepers in the world. It has therefore come as little surprise that he has attracted interest from bigger clubs.
But according to the player’s agent, Bernhard Schmittenbecher, the German is staying put and could even sign a new deal.
"Neuer is not in touch with other clubs and his priority is Schalke.
"In fact, he and I are negotiating with club officials with regards to extending his contract."
