Lucho Gonzalez’ agent has confirmed that Galatasaray are amongst the sides tracking his client.
While the Argentine is not for sale at Marseille, there is a sense that a substantial bid will cause the French club to part with the 30-year-old.
And that could yet come from Galatasaray as the Turkish club investigate strengthening their midfield.
Talk had begun to circulate within Turkey that Gonzalez was on Galatasaray’s wanted list, something that has now been confirmed.
"I can confirm that the rumours concerning Galatasaray are correct", declared Gonzalez’ agent Julio Battaglia.
