Carlos Tevez’ agent has warned that a deal for his client to move to Brazilian side Corinthians will not be easy to complete.
The South American giants have sent a bid of €40M to Tevez’ English side Manchester City, as the striker has made clear his determination to move closer to his daughters in Argentina.
And City have appeared firm in public in sticking to their £50M valuation of Tevez, meaning a move at €40M looks unlikely and could prove difficult to realise Kia Joorabchian has admitted.
"It’s a big deal and a tough deal", Tevez’ agent told Sky Sports News, "because it is one of a very big nature and it might not be simple."
But Corinthians are, Joorabchian explained, still waiting to hear back from City on their offer – and it has not yet been refused.
"We wait to see.
"First and foremost we have to respect that City have to make a formal answer.
"If they do accept, then everyone will be running to make it happen. If they don’t we will have to see what other options will be available for him."
