Roma striker Mirko Vucinic looks to be set to exit the Giallorossi, with Juventus or Manchester United believed to be his most likely destinations.
The Italians are lining up a move for Villarreal striker Nilmar, who should arrive at the Stadio Olimpico to replace Vucinic according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
Vucinic has been linked with a departure from the Italian capital for the past month. English Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur moved first for the striker, but could not come to an agreement with Roma.
Now Juventus, smarting from failing to sign Giuseppe Rossi from Villarreal, have begun to hone in on Vucinic, however it is the interest of Manchester United which is perhaps the most intriguing.
United have vowed that at least one more player will be signed this summer, although were that to be the 27-year-old Montenegro striker it would be a surprising move.
It seems clear though that Vucinic has interested United, but Juventus are considered to be in the driving seat.
The Old Lady’s lack of cutting edge has been clear throughout pre-season and Juventus boss Antonio Conte considers Vucinic a proven Serie A goal-getter who could address this problem.
