Galatasaray look to be closing in on German striker Lukas Podolski.
The 26-year-old currently turns out for Bundesliga side Koln, but has had an unsettled time at the club and turned in performances well below his best.
Now Turkish giants Galatasaray are offering the former Bayern Munich striker an escape route from the Bundesliga and the chance to relaunch his career in the Super Lig.
Reports from Turkey suggest Galatasaray have had a bid of €9M accepted by Koln and the green light has been given to speak to Podolski.
The Istanbul club are now preparing to present a four-year contract worth €3.4M per year to the striker.
Galatasaray are desperate to land a big name as they seek to appease supporters unhappy over the sale of Arda Turan to Atletico Madrid.
