Fulham’s interest in FC Twente pair Bryan Ruiz and Nacer Chadli has been dismissed by the Dutch club’s chairman Joop Munsterman.

Cottagers boss Martin Jol knows the qualities of both players well from his time in charge of Ajax, but extracting the pair from Twente will prove a difficult operation.

And it could prove impossible unless Fulham drastically increase their bids.

"The offer for Chadli, we consider half a bid, so we are not seriously impressed", admitted Munsterman after the Premier League side’s offer landed.

"And Bryan did not even want to go to Fulham", added the Twente supremo.

Jol will need to find more cash if he wants to snare either Chadli or Ruiz, or both.
