Former Real Madrid midfielder Mahamadou Diarra has received a lucrative offer to continue his career in the Middle East.
The 30-year-old has been a free agent since parting company with Monaco in the summer, following the principality club’s relegation to Ligue 2.
Now the Mali international is the subject of interest from United Arab Emirates outfit Al-Jazeera.
The Mali international is thought to be considering the offer and could follow an array of stars to the Middle East.
Recently Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan swapped English Premier League outfit Sunderland for Al-Ain, while Diego Maradona is also a coach in the region.
Now Diarra could head for the oil-rich lands too.
The midfielder has enjoyed a varied career, with his highest profile stop being at Real Madrid between 2006 and January of this year.
