It is only a matter of time before Liverpool target Gaston Ramirez exits Bologna according to the player’s agent.
The exciting young Uruguayan talent has popped up onto Liverpool’s radar, with the Reds plotting a January swoop for the 20-year-old, while La Liga outfit Sevilla have also joined the chase.
Despite Bologna appreciating that they have a gem on their hands, there have been signs from Italy that, though the club would be reluctant sellers, Ramirez would be allowed to leave for the right price.
If the Rossoblu had any thoughts of U-turning and adopting a stubborn approach over Ramirez however, the player’s agent has warned the Serie A outfit that it is only a matter of time before he makes his exit.
"The directors of his team know that if not in January, he will leave next summer because there are many clubs interested", said Vincenzo D’Ippolito.
Ramirez himself has tried to play down transfer speculation by declaring that he is happy at Bologna.
However, the Uruguayan would still be unlikely to reject the opportunity to join Liverpool or Sevilla if it were offered to him in January or the summer.
A number of other clubs could also become embroiled in the transfer battle too, with Inter, Napoli, Genoa, Udinese, Lazio and Fiorentina all having had Ramirez watched with a view to keeping him in Serie A.
