Inter are monitoring Palermo midfielder Josip Ilicic with a view to making a bid for the 23-year-old attacking midfielder.
The Slovakian has caught Inter’s eye with a series of fine displays for Palermo since joining the club last year.
Palermo snapped up Ilicic from Maribor for a fee of around €2.3M and were instantly overjoyed with uncovering the gem.
Indeed, so pleased where Palermo with Ilicic’s performances that they tied him to a new five-year contract in the summer, and in so doing warned off any potential suitors.
Inter though have not been put off and could well begin to make moves behind the scenes to sign the Slovak for next summer.
