Wolfsburg manager Felix Magath has his eye on a swoop for Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky.
Magath has vowed to turn the Wolves into Bundesliga champions within three years and also recently declared his wish for a minimum of five new players to arrive in the January transfer window.
The former Bayern Munich boss is seeking to revive Wolfsburg’s fortunes this season, with the club just two points clear of the relegation zone.
And Rosicky, who has Bundesliga experience from his time at Borussia Dortmund, is on Magath’s shopping list.
"Tomas is a good player, there’s no doubt", said the Wolfsburg boss to Bild when questioned about a swoop.
Out-of-favour Bayern Munich striker Ivica Olic is also under consideration.
"Olic might be okay", commented Magath.
"As I understand it, he has said that he wants to leave."
