Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has confirmed he is a fan of Blackburn Rovers defender Christopher Samba, Bolton Wanderers stopper Gary Cahill and Marseille striker Loic Remy.

Redknapp has been keen to bring another centre back to White Hart Lane and narrowly missed out on signing Cahill from Bolton in the summer.

Cahill is close to moving to Chelsea for £7M, but Samba is still up for grabs, with Queens Park Rangers recently seeing a £5M bid for the man mountain rejected.

Redknapp has claimed not to be close to a winter window signing, but confirmed his liking for Samba and, once again, Cahill.

"Samba’s a player, a real good player. I like the pair of them, admitted Redknapp.

The Spurs manager also confirmed that he is a fan of Marseille striker Remy, a man Tottenham are believed to have offered Didier Deschamps’ side cash plus Roman Pavlyuchenko for.
