Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp believes Marseille striker Loic Remy’s performance against Lille has put another £5M to £6M on his asking price.

Remy struck both goals in Marseille’s 2-0 win over the French champions at the Stade Velodrome last weekend, a game that Redknapp took in from the stands.

The Spurs boss has admitted to holding an interest in the former Nice striker, but is pessimistic over the chances of a deal being done.

"People have said that he might be available, but I don’t think they will sell him", said Redknapp.

And on Remy’s heroics against Lille, the Spurs chief commented: "It was a good performance.

"It probably put another £5M-6M on his asking price."
