Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski has poured cold water on talk he could exit the Ruhr giants.

The Polish goal-getter has been linked with a number of sides over the last six months and there have been suggestions he could be plying his trade elsewhere next season – Bayern Munich have been strongly mentioned.

But for Lewandowski, such thoughts could not be further from his mind as, instead of considering a future away from Dortmund, he is actively thinking of increasing his commitment to Jurgen Klopp’s men.

“I don’t want to hear talk like this”, said the striker to Kicker, adding: “There is no way that I could imagine leaving Dortmund.”

And Lewandowski, who has bagged an impressive 14 goals in 20 games so far, addressed recent reports of a switch to Bayern Munich head on.

“I play for the reigning Bundesliga champions – why would I move to Bayern?

"I’m under contract until June 2014.”

Indeed, when asked about his commitment, Lewandowski hinted at an even longer stay.

"First I need to have a sign from the club and then I could think about my situation.

“I wouldn’t rule it [a new deal] out.”
