Marseille striker Loic Remy has revealed that he will think about his future after Euro 2012 – hopefully off the back of a good tournament in Poland/Ukraine.
Remy has excelled with the Ligue 1 giants this season and was the subject of interest from Tottenham Hotspur in January’s transfer window, although he proved out of Harry Redknapp’s reach.
Marseille coach Didier Deschamps did not want to part with his side’s main goal threat and the 25-year-old remained at the Stade Velodrome, being firmly priced highly.
There is expected to be interest in the former Nice man again in the summer though and Remy admits he could well turn out in a different league than Ligue 1 if he chose to.
"I could play on the pitches of the English championship, the Spanish, the Italian, but one thing at a time", the striker told Surface Magazine.
"I’m trying to finish the season well with my club."
The Marseille man admits that, with Euro 2012 on the horizon, a decision can only be made after the tournament, which he hopes to star in with Les Bleus.
"If indeed I have the opportunity to go to the Euros, I want to have a very good Euros – after that we’ll see."
Remy has found the back of the net nine times in 21 games in Ligue 1 this season and is under contract with Marseille until 2015, putting the south coast side in a strong position over determining his future.
