Barcelona star Cristian Tello, who scored two in the Catalan side’s 7-1 Champions League romp over Bayer Leverkusen, is on the agenda of a number of Europe’s biggest clubs, his agent has admitted.

Sides such as English giants Liverpool, Portuguese powerhouses Benfica and La Liga duo Malaga and Valencia, have all been heavily linked with swoops for the 20-year-old.

And with the forward-cum-winger only under contract at the Camp Nou until 2013, speculation has increased that should Barcelona not be able to thrash out a deal soon with Tello, then he could be quickly sold.

The Spaniard’s agent, Jose Maria Orobitg, has confirmed that should that happen, Tello would have no shortage of options, with his phone ringing off the hook with clubs asking about his client’s availability.

"Many European clubs are interested in the player", Orobitg told O Jogo, before adding that the priority remains negotiating a new deal with the Blaugrana though, "but now we are in negotiations with the club."

This though has not stopped interest.

"There have been calls from England, Portugal and other places, but nothing is clear yet."

The highly rated Tello made his breakthrough into Barcelona’s first team this season from the club’s B team.

He has so far made five La Liga appearances, scoring two goals in the process.
