Eden Hazard has confirmed that he is heading to Manchester – but tantalisingly held out hope for both Manchester City and Manchester United, by admitting his destination is not yet finalised.

The Belgian forward is the most in demand talent in world football, though the long and winding chase for his signature looks to be coming to an end, with his destination narrowed down to a single English city.

Both Roberto Mancini and Sir Alex Ferguson are confirmed fans of the 21-year-old and each would dearly love to complete a deal for the Lille man which, while bolstering their own ranks, would also strike a blow to their rivals, who will have missed out on a world class talent.

"It will be Manchester, I already said that", revealed Hazard after he was crowned Ligue 1 Player of the Year for a second successive season.

"The champions or the runners-up? That I do not know. But the decision will taken very soon", he added.

Hazard looks set to wrap up his move ahead of Euro 2012, although there is no pressure on the forward to do that, as Belgium failed to qualify for the summer’s footballing festival.

The 21-year-old still has some Ligue 1 duty remaining in the current campaign however, with Lille in action against Nancy on the final matchday next weekend; an occasion which offers Hazard the perfect platform to bid farewell to the home supporters.

Lille are sure to finish third in Ligue 1, with Hazard having scored 17 goals in 37 French top flight games this season.
