FC Porto striker Hulk has reiterated his desire to join Champions League winners Chelsea this summer, claiming signing for Roberto Di Matteo’s men would delight any player.
The Blues have been heavily linked with the 25-year-old and, such is the strength of feeling with which the player wants to move to Stamford Bridge, Paris Saint-Germain cooled on a plan to offer €53M for the Brazilian.
Hulk seems likely to join Eden Hazard, who has already joined Chelsea, at the London club for next season – and he has given the prospective transfer a further push.
“It would please any player to move there”, Hulk told O Jogo.
“And I am no different”, he added.
“I would be very happy if this transfer goes ahead.”
Hulk has a €100M fee release clause at Porto, but the Portuguese champions have adopted a more realistic stance on his departure.
Indeed, the powerful forward appears to be edging closer to becoming a Chelsea player by the day.
He scored 16 goals in the Portuguese league last season.
