Hot on the heels of Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas admitting that goalkeeper Hugo Lloris is available for the right price, English giants Arsenal have been linked with a swoop for the France number 1.
According to Telefoot, Arsene Wenger’s men are keen on Lloris and look set to make the running for the 25-year-old’s signature.
Lloris further increased his already good reputation this summer through his displays for France at Euro 2012, despite Les Bleus exiting the competition at the quarter-final stage to Spain.
Lyon have a need for cash having missed out on qualifying for next season’s Champions League and Lloris would bring in a substantial sum.
That has caused Les Gones president Jean-Michel Aulas to concede that selling the shot-stopper is on the agenda.
"Lloris can leave", Aulas told TF1.
"But only if the price offered meets his valuation in the market."
Lyon are thought to be looking for around €15M for the goalkeeper.
Several other clubs have been linked with Lloris, including Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.
