Liverpool midfielder Joe Cole is wanted by Russian Premier League side Spartak Moscow and English outfit West Ham, his agent David Geiss has told Russian daily Izvestia.
Cole has slipped down the pecking order at Anfield and, according to Geiss, has been told he can leave the Reds.
The former Chelsea star spent last season on loan at French side Lille, but keeping Cole at the club proved to be financially unworkable for the 2011 Ligue 1 champions, despite the spell being declared a success.
Spartak Moscow though and West Ham could get closer to satisfying the player’s demands, especially given his lack of first team football under Reds boss Brendan Rodgers.
"In January, we’ll chart a new course for Joe’s career", Geiss was quoted as saying.
"We have had contact with Spartak Moscow and West Ham. We will return to these options.

Cole has had his ability lauded within Russia by former Manchester United winger Andrei Kanchelskis, who has recommended Spartak Moscow snap up the 30-year-old.
The current Nizhny Novgorod coach said: "Cole is the perfect midfielder.
"Quick thinking, able to take the initiative and lead the whole team.
"He would be a useful midfielder for Spartak Moscow."
It remains to be seen where Cole will choose to head, if he does decide to cut short a contract which runs until the summer of 2014.
He has made two appearances for Liverpool in the Premier League so far this season, both coming from the bench.
