Holland coach Louis van Gaal has raised the prospect of returning to manage Bayern Munich in the future, but only if president Uli Hoeness has departed the Allianz Arena.
Van Gaal has returned to a number of his previous clubs, including Ajax, Barcelona and AZ Alkmaar, while he is now in his second spell in charge of the Dutch national team.
But the 61-year-old, who parted company with Bayern Munich in 2011 after a successful time in charge of the Bavarians, cannot envisage a return to southern Germany while Hoeness is still stalking the corridors of power at the Allianz Arena.
"With my previous clubs, Ajax, AZ, FC Barcelona and the Dutch national team, I have returned", Van Gaal told German daily Bild.
"Now only Bayern Munich remains", he added.
"The only person at the club who always insisted upon me going was Uli Hoeness. Nobody else.

And Van Gaal also criticised the amount of power and influence that Hoeness currently enjoys in Munich.
"It is not good that the power at a big club like Bayern Munich only lies with one person."
