Questioned about what Wenger has said by the Gazette du Fennec, the 23-year-old replied: "Arsene Wenger is someone who is very important.

"No one needs to introduce him. He is Arsenal and therefore it is a real pleasure to hear praise from him."

And the all-action 23-year-old midfielder revealed that such tributes cause him to give his all to become an even better player.

"It simply pushes me to work harder and to try and go even further", he said.

The Valencia star was also asked which leagues he likes the best and gave a nod towards the English Premier League, with words which are sure to please his numerous fans from the country.

"Apart from the Spanish league there are several", said Feghouli.

"But I especially like the English league."

While Feghouli has a number of suitors, it is far from clear that he will exit Valencia in the near future.

The Algeria international has recently paid tribute to the Spanish giants for the opportunities they have handed him and the faith they have placed in him.

And Feghouli appears determined to repay what he sees as a debt owed to Los Che, who signed him from Grenoble in 2010.
