Yann M’Vila is ready to leave Rennes during the current transfer window if a fee can be agreed with the French club.

The defensive midfielder was expected to leave Rennes over the summer, so much so that the Ligue 1 outfit even signed his replacement in Jean Makoun.

But with disciplinary problems at international level at Euro 2012 and a resulting suspension for Les Bleus, interest in the 22-year-old cooled.

In the summer Rennes wanted around the €20M mark for M’Vila; now they are believed to be ready to settle for closer to €10M, a figure some may feel represents a bargain.

And the player himself is ready to go, with a source close to M’Vila quoted as telling Eurosport: "If an agreement is reached with Rennes, Yann would go without hesitation."

The news is likely to be listened to carefully by a number of clubs who have been keen on M’Vila in the past.

His suitors include Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Zenit St. Petersburg, while QPR have also recently been mooted as a possible destination for the midfield talent.
